    Its for aerodynamics. TT teams have stated being able to go 15 mph faster with just the TT valance added to the front of the vehicle. Also on Dezertrangers some people claim to get better mpgs with the valance. Me I think it looks good and if I can get a fraction of my mpgs back even better. The rear valance is just to match the look of the truck. Also iirc, I think technically bumpers need to be 4" tall to be legal in CA. Right now im sitting at about 42k invested (including price of new 13')...so still way under Ford Raptor pricing.
