I always thought it would be cool to drive around with a LT truck until I finally got the kit. Drives down the road fine but when you need to make turns or driving in a parking lot its a pain. Fitting into parking spots sucks, making U turns is nearly impossible, and overall its just annoying.
Make the smart decision of just buying a cheap DD first then you can build your truck, nothing worse than romping on your truck you just spent all your money nonacid having it break and no car to drive to work in.

I have definitely been in a few spots where 4x came in handy. So it's awesome to have when needed but usually don't.

@sull1981 Is there any vibrations/reverberations coming from the front end with the hubs locked and driving at anything above a crawl? once the hubs are locked are you able to shift between 4wd and 2wd on the fly? .... curious about the ujoints up front without ujoints on the opposite end to offset them....

My front end has zero vibrations while in 4x4, once hubs are locked you can shift back and forth on the fly but I try to keep hubs unlocked if not in 4x

No vibrations. I have had the hubs locked and switched between at up to 30 mph with no problem.

Bumping up to 37's next. Gonna take some more cutting and sheet metal work on front end. Truck can go faster than i push it but ultimately its my family cruiser not trying to race it. Ultimate family wagon.
