yeah so something is squeaking it sounds like its the LCAs...

plus I can hear my front shocks compress when going over a big bump... such as a drive way...

I think this weekend I'm going to check all the bolt and make sure everything is torqued down since I'm sure the truck has settled

Welcome to the RCD club Solus. I agree with you on the wind noise off the drop bracket but it's hardly noticeable to me. As far as any squeeking goes I can't hear a thing on mine. Did you ever get the parking brake thing figured out?

so the its there rear that squeaking a lot... i can't tell if its the springs or the shocks. I don't think its the shocks because its a high pitch metal type squeak.

That's exactly how mine are and travis' too. It's most likely the leaf springs. I absolutely need new leaf springs regardless which are on order now.

its weird because they didn't squeak prior to taking the AAL out but who knows...

I sure hope its not the shocks but I could that be if they are brand new

If the rear is squeaking, I am sure its the springs. There are plastic pads between the leafs, it sounds like they might be dry and causing squeak, or they are missing. High pitched metal squeak sounds like there is something that is touching. I'd have someone jounce the back of the truck while you look around for the noise, could be a bracket rubbing or something.

For jrobinson, I got the skid plate to fit by tweaking the back edge flat and in the back where it would come in contact with the front diff mounts, I just used a large crescent wrench and bent it a little at a time. kinda have to slide it in from the drivers side, just work it a little bit side to side. I slid it in at kind of an angle so I could line up the bolt holes and could see where I needed to bend it. Cutting slots where the bracket is would work too, but we didnt have the ability to do that, I generally dont like cutting things up unless totally necessary. Hope it might help some, pictures might help too. Feel free to pm me or whatever if you have any questions.
