Auto-correct isn't my friend today. Either way, seeing as quite a few people have ran into the same issue as stated in the OP. I wouldn't go as far as saying each one of them is incompetent.

I could ask my question again with correct spelling but I have a feeling you still wont answer it.

I used a friends Snap-On flare wrenches and double wrenched on all fittings and got lucky. I'm pretty sure I hit everything with PB Blaster the night before but it's been a while. Quality tools make a difference, especially with "specialty" tools.

That sucks big time. :( I read up on that as a second to worst case option. Toyota uses 3/16 tubing, double flare on the lines and and 10mm x M1.00 thread fittings.

lol I'd love to have the tools. Watched a few videos of them in action.

If I was restoring a vehicle or something where it was cost effective, I think I'd do it.

Nice video of ETCG double flaring a 3/16 line

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPlHuF4PmNY

Thanks. Will do. Got some brand new ones in the garage now.

Can't wait to get this stupid (but very important) extended brake line install behind me.

I know that feeling iv had many many over the yrs be that hard and very few times did I ever have to cut and reflare unless I twisted them off by not holding the bottom good and tight. good luck

Note that this is a best case scenario, doing it on a bench, doing it upside down with brake fluid dripping on you makes it MUCH more challenging. It was one on the more frustrating challenging things I have done on my truck.

More details on this please. So, cut the hard line with nut and flare, then . . . Google shows me this as a PEX connector

ETCG should have mentioned to be sure and have the nut on the line before flaring. Of course I would never do anything so silly....

Thanks. Yes. It took a stupid amount of force but got one more free.

Now to move onto the bastards at the frame.
