    One side of the headlights were still plugged in and the one you were testing was unplugged?

    Im not sure what lights are on the same relay or fuse...But I had an Issue with my Gauge lights & STereo lights dimming when I would press the brakes..The dealership couldnt figure it out & told me to deal with it...It turned out, My Rear left Brake light Bulb was out & causing this whole issue

    When I did the test. I unplugged the HID's on driver side. My OEM bulb plug only has 3 prongs/inserts, and my measurements correspond with your drawing @mechanicjon

    I will get voltage of my high-beams while truck is on. Also I cannot get measurements of lights off while truck is on and idling. The headlights automatically turn on, even with my lights turned to the off position, when I start my truck.

    They will because of daytime running lights. That's by design. I'm looking for voltage difference between hi, low and DRL

    Ok the white and green wire that runs to your factory head light plug. Key On and engine off measure resistance to ground for that wire. So white and green with one probe the other to a ground source.
    What's the Ohms?

    Also check the DRL fuse for power engine running light switch off and engine running light switch on. Engine running is important. Check both sides of the little test hole in the top of the fuse. Use your meter with one terminal to ground. Test those to little metal dots on each side of the number

    No. been dealing with a family emergency. Close family member is ill, and been taking care of them in their home. Will provide measurements to jon by next weekend, when I fly back to my apt and truck.

    Alright team. I'm back in town. I appreciate your patience as I have been gone for a while.

    I feel like the HID kit has too many issues. So going to remove and replace with regular housing and led bulbs. Still need to kill dtrl though. @mechanicjon
    @muddog67

    Still will run the test as requested in the last few posts. New setup should be here in 7 business days. Then I will post the readings.

    Family is better, thank you for asking. I sent back the HID Kit and will be installing regular head light housing next Friday with led bulbs. I have regular bulbs as a back up if the led headlight bulbs throw crazy light.

    My turn signals, horn, and hazard stopped today so going to start with fuse checking. I also put in led turn signal bulbs and had hyper flash before fuses blowing. I have "ck" bulbs on order. I guess they might help stop fuses blowing.
    So to wrap up, next Friday I will install and post readings. I want to figure out why we can't shut of dtrl. Thanks!

    Ended up being the Light kit. Put back to stock and unhooked white/green wire per TSB. DRL's off!!
