I'm in the process of removing the driver seat cushion from its frame. I got the right side cover and two bolts out but I'm having problems removing the lumbar support handle from the left side plastic cover. I didn't see any screws holding it to the shaft, so I tried prying the handle off the shaft from inside the plastic cover but I'm afraid of breaking something.

So how does one remove the round handle from its shaft?

    Lumbar support? What's that?

The knob I described raises and lowers the back edge of the seat. I thought that was the support for your lumbar. (Lumbar is the lower part of your back.)

There's a small lever on the right side of the seat back that, when you move it up and down, moves sumthin' in the lower part of the seat back. I think I was mistaken by using "lumbar support" in my initial post.
