    few things here and there.
    Hey y’all.

So, I have a 2018, TRD OR. When I approach the truck and go to put my hand on the door handle, it unlocks. However, it doesn’t unlock any other door.

I watched a video of someone controlling the other doors via the radio interface, but mine doesn’t appear to have it.

Is it possible I can program it to unlock both the passenger and driver door? Or is it just what it is for my model year.

    Thanks!

Attempted, couldn’t find anything in it that specifies.

Right, I’ve checked mine.. I don’t seem to have it.

Edit: Don’t seem to have instructions on how to make the option for customization clickable.

Update. I’m an idiot. I couldn’t figure out why my option was not clickable… I waited.. it suddenly became clickable lol.

Once I could click it, I was able to get it in and change it.

It's a default security feature to prevent unwanted persons from accessing your vehicle when you open your door. Even my '13 5 lug does it.

In my case I click the fob twice to open both doors.

My keyless RAV behaves as you describe. But I've left it that way as it's the wife's primary vehicle, and the security part makes sense. But it is changeable if you want to do so. My owners manual has instructions.

Mine is set that it unlocks all doors when I touch the driver door handle. With the keyfob, one press unlocks driver door, second press unlocks the others. I don't remember how I set it up, but it was through the radio somehow. What radio do you have? Can you post a picture?

I had a 2016 Tacoma and I recall I had that option available. The 2018 uses the same entune as my 2016.

Check this : https://youtu.be/KH3KJy5MxbQ (not a tacoma, but same headunit)

OP @disel_V1 I am in the same boat as @DES2009. I have mine programmed so that all 4 doors unlock at the same time when I grab the door handle. I honestly don't know how I did it. Here is the kicker. The other day I was messing with the settings shown in the video above. RE: I was trying to figure out my door "auto lock" settings. In doing so and messing with these settings, the only thing I succeeded in doing was making it so touching the door handle only unlocked the drivers door! WTF!!!!

I spent about 20 minutes messing with the settings some more. Nine of them in any way indicate that they change the touch sensor behavior!!! Well guess what, after messing around for a while, I got it so all 4 doors unlock again with the touch sensor.

I don't know how I broke it. I don't know how I fixed it. I love my Tacoma but this is one of my complaints. The hidden features like this.

Literally there should be setting called:
    • "Doors to Unlock with Touch Sensor"
    • Options should be: None, Drivers Door, All Doors

@disel_V1 I see you said you solved it. What exact setting did you change? See my post above.
