I'd like to think you aren't retarded, but maybe you are.

And if there's one things I've learned, the ones who talk the most, do the least.

    DIY Fabricobbler.

Nobody said you can't catch the guy red handed with video to prove it, and then dress the guy up in pink frilly granny panties and duct tape him to a corner light post with a cardboard sign at his feet explaining what he got caught for. Let the community jury settle his punishment.

Maybe that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment and he could sue and get the rest of the truck in the settlement.

We just can't win this game. :annoyed:

    1. Go to insurance let them tell you where to go. But also depends on your deductible, if I were you I'd call around a few shops. If they all quote 650 and your deductible is 1k, then....Shit, now you have an insurance claim and you still paid the same amount anyway :notsure: your rates will go up and you got nothing out of it!

    2. Parts range 100-300 or so. Install, unknown. However they're not that bad to DIY, everything kind of bolts together. You just have to know what parts were nicked and buy those.

    3. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/or-fab-catalytic-converter-anti-theft-skid-plate-install.394004/ It's not perfect, and yes people can still steal $%&! and always will. But typically it's a crime of opportunity for cats and tailgates. Lock your tailgate, and block your cats - they'll go onto the next vehicle since there's stuff in the way.

LoL! That was 'the Plan' before the ECU group kicked off their work. That group was super into flow charts as a hobby.
