So I replaced the broken spark plug in cylinder 5 with a new one. I also pulled cylinder 1's spark plug and saw that it looked normal. Then I swapped cylinder 5's spark coil with cylinder 1's spark coil and disconnected the battery ground to reset the codes. Ten minutes later I reattached the ground and went for a ride.
During the first minute the truck ran perfectly but then it began to miss. :annoyed:

I drove around for 15 minutes waiting for the CEL to come on. It didn't, so I stopped to check something out in a store. Ten minutes later I got back in the truck and started home. After one minute the CEL finally came on and stayed on. I went to Oreilly's and had them check the codes. They read out in this order:

    Cylinder 1 misfire
    Cylinder 1 misfire
    Cylinder 1 misfire
    Random misfire
    Cylinder 1 misfire
    Cylinder 6 misfire
    Cylinder 1 misfire
    Cylinder 1 misfire

Don't know about the random misfire and the cylinder 6 misfire and am not too worried about them right now.

I suppose the next thing to do is to check the injector for cylinder 1 but I don't know how to do that. If somebody could help me out or suggest something else to do I would really appreciate it.
