Sweet, I am relieved to hear that! I wondered and was a little worried about that......didn't you realize when you were post #2 that there are no breaks allowed from this thread, vacation or not? :D

Hell yeah, definitely, post away with the pics!! But you realize I'll have to use the cute little thread jack emoticon since I rarely get to use that one :DWe'd love to see what ya catch! :) Have a blast man!

EDIT: Realized I had a perfect opp to use it now - [IMG]

EDIT #2: I gotta say, TW has the best little guys like that of all the forums. Wow, that was a highly intelligent, critically important observation

Duly noted. Will make special efforts to use correct vernacular.

Oak Kitchen Cabinets, refinished by yours truly....

This is less than half of the cabinet doors. And let me tell you the fun it was taping plastic sheeting to block off the kitchen then sanding the actual cabinets. Good times. I never want to pick up another sander or poly brush again. :D

This also happens to be the shed we contemplated rebuilding the old engine in. Kinda wish we would have done that, considering all we wound up teaching ourselves anyway! It actually almost sounds fun to me now!

I ran this down and i don't think it would cause it. About the only thing would be if they got to aggressive putting the lines together on top of that, or installing the pump, and pinched/cracked the bonded feed and vent tubes on top of the plate. I guess a inspection mirror could be used to take a peek up there and see.

It's a straight forward installation inside the tank. So long as a modicum of intelligence was used to install it. (knock on poly coated cabinet doors!) Knock Knock, Knock!

It works, but kind of depressing. Not fitting to you guys personality. please try something else. And yes, I know what it is, regardless if it the start of this thread.

That's why it looks so familiar! It looks exactly like a full, metal jacket punching through plate steel. .223 rounds especially.

It's your thread. I'm all for variation. I'm partial to doggies, Toyota's and home improvement projects. Any thing works. I change mine all the time. Go nuts!

Southeastern Oregon is the prettiest place!! Taco was a champ on all those crazy roads. Definitely going back to that area again someday. We saw two bighorn sheep, just hanging out, next to where we hiked. I could stare at that scenery 24/7.....

Give us 8 years. Who knows if we can really retire. So much weird shit going on with economy, you really can't plan that far ahead. The only thing I know is now:)

If memory serves correctly, the 1st gen Tacoma does not actually apply power to the fuel pump until the engine starts cranking. Turning the key on doesn't energize the fuel pump.

Correct, the computer turns on the pump after it receives feed back from the crank, cam and maf sensors that the engine in turning over(safety feature I think). Turns off the pump it no engine rotation is detected. You can jumper the pump to test if it works with engine off.

I have you tested both fuel pump relays after it has been warmed up to see if both are working correctly?
