well this is the record/blog/log I kept of things as soon as I realized I had an issue I put it all down so not to forget anything.

not going to bore anyone here with a 3000 page report but its here if anyone cared to read the whole story.

see post #4675 and yes that is correct there are 4700 posts about unfixable GM lemon chevy and GMC vibrator trucks

    http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/153186-shake-or-vibration-issues/page-312

thanks for the kind thoughts and words guys and gals

not to hurt you guys feelings but I view the tundra as a turd, anything that has that bad a mpg is not even worth considering in my book, that said it is a nice truck though. I don't even like the 3.4 mpg but I need the power so it is what it is and I just have to live with 15-17 mpg but then I got spoiled with my 99 taco and the 2.4 getting 21/25 mpg, that was super nice even though it had no power at all.

as far as I am concerned my 04 taco is better then any of those "new" trucks out there including the new tacos.

as far as I am concerned I do have a new truck, its just now broken in with 115k miles on it so I have another 400k to go

You wouldn't hurt my feelings at all! The 1st gen Tacoma's are nice but they don't have the power I need.

My wifes 2015 F150 gets about 20 mpg :D. If it holds up like our F150's at work it should stick around at least 5-7 years

Yup. Butterfly's and fresh spun cotton candy! :yay: Good times,,finally and forever!. Nothing can kill your steam now, you been down the rabbit hole of mechanical shit. Not so bad,, you learned a thing or two quickly on the cheap, and it was much easier than it was in years past. Back in the day you made phone call after phone call,, running all over town for answers and parts, day after day. Lots of running and calling to get it fixed today,,but much less than it used to be, and having TW right in front of you to generally save bucks,,lest we forget.

How many miles total since engine rebuild Jen?. Grand total.

Wow! I'm glad you asked, I just went and looked and didn't realize it was so little - just shy of 2K!! That's barely anything! That will change after this weekend though :D

The big burning question of the day is, what kind of music mixes do I wanna bring? I like having compilation CDs on long trips. Normally it's a no brainer, all Waylon, or at least mostly, with some other country classics. But last night we were kinda finding our groove again listening to Styx and Police, which makes me start thinking of other classics I miss listening to!! This is gonna be a tough one TW, might have to take a vote and get your opinions on this very important matter :D

Didn't get as much done on C.R. as I wanted. Decided to treat myself to a beer before I headed in to go to bed.

I got the tail gate fabbed up, hopefully I can get that installed in tomorrow morning.20150521_070720_f4037f1cb0905fa9ff2d38e660e68913024686af.jpg 20150521_071715_781bfccafd2ae10520bff8aa1491da4e1fce3267.jpg

Here it sits in its approximate home. Just need to build the hinges and latch. Gimme 30 minutes and that job will be done.20150521_072509_2ee50e993ab1d944e6ff2b750836cb646fcc09fe.jpg

I doesn't look like it has a compressor, which are huge electricity users. I would think you could get a full day of run time off 1, hi quality 12v deep cycle battery. I'll have to look closer to find out the ratings on the motor to get some real numbers to properly calculate run time.

I looks like all it has is a fan, so the load on the battery would be pretty low.
