Although Eric may not be very happy with prioritizing the topper over the pie.....

I'm concerned that this will be a big let down for you guys, after all this build up. Should I paint something bnoxious on it to make it more exciting for everyone?

Going to wash it first (got dusty since last painted), then I can touch up those 3 little areas I missed/goofed on.

Then I'm going to have Eric put it on the Taco when he gets home around 6, so ya get the full exciting effect of the total end look. Then pics will be posted!! Promise!!

Honestly it doesn't look a heck of a lot different than the 1st coat pics I posted, but I suppose it does look a bit better with the 2nd, to me anyway....

Dolly's vet called and we talked for a long while, then I had to talk to Eric about what we'd discussed, because we're taking her in for a dental cleaning and to have a couple little lumps removed tomorrow.

All that talkin' took time.

Then I had to do a few more steps on the pie.

And now it's too hot & sunny to deal with that gloppy paint.

Bad jokes would help me pass the time while I've got all this nervous energy about Dolly's thing today. I really shouldn't even worry, this is no big deal, routine stuff being done. But she's my baby and she will be anesthetized for it, so I will freak out til she's home again later today!!

Man, I wish I knew how to ship pies without them being destroyed. That strawberry rhubarb was the BOMB. Finished nearly half last night between just the two of us! Eric's annihilating another giant piece right now for breakfast. I'd totally ship you guys some if I knew how to get it to ya properly!! Guess you'll all just have to come to Oregon one of these days!!

What's everybody's plans for the weekend? Not sure what we are doing yet.....other than drinking and farting around, two things we seem to be best at
