I had a deviated septum repaired when I was a young teenager, it didn't cause any problems. I still had trouble breathing through my nose until I did something dumb and broke my nose. I told the doctor to maximize the airways, much better now.

Good afternoon TW! How's everyone on this fine Wednesday?

@koditten , how's the house arrest going today? Still thinking you might get the all clear tomorrow? You keeping yourself busy with any particular projects today (besides daydreaming about Bigfoot and his lovely taint :devil::devil::devil:) ? :D Sorry buddy, had to do it - what can I say, you supplied some fabulous material there :D

It's hot and humid here. That never happens!! I am so used to nasty humid Illinois weather from growing up in it, but it is super rare in Oregon. Today is just like that icky Illinois humidity though. Hope it clears up. Humid sucks.

Just got back from walking Dolly and we saw this really cool owl at the park!! It was maybe 50' from us tops!! Couldn't believe Dolly didn't go bonkers and bark at it, but she was totally quiet and seemed in awe of it as much as I was! It was just sitting there on a tree limb staring at Dolly and I, and 2 other women. Two other women with smartphones. Two other women with smartphones taking tons of "most incredible wildlife sighting of your life" photos that they no doubt shared on the social media page of their choice within seconds.

A good hour + after the experience, guess what I have to share with you guys? Seeing as how I lack a smart phone ;) I have a really cool story to share!! :D Who needs instant beautiful color photographs of some rare species of owl 50' from you, when you can READ SOME REALLY EXCITING TEXT about someone else seeing it instead, right guys? :D:D:D:D:D:D I knew you'd see it my way!! :D:D:D:D:D

Uh oh, I sense rotten tomatoes coming my way soon, better run!! :annoyed:

    Happy Wednesday TW!! :)

Not topper pics, sorry. But been meaning to share these pics of how awesome it is using that mister. So nice!! Highly recommend for hot days.

And that arbor shade? 4 pieces of 10' metal conduit at $2.30 each, 8 hooks at 85 cents each, and two old king sized white sheets. Works awesome - easy to open it for sun or close it for shade, and looks pretty nice too! And it's easy to take down to wash and put back up! Used to have grape vines covering the arbor, and I do mean COVERING, but grapes are THE favorite food of racoons so they basically moved in and we battled them for years, til we finally hacked the grape vines down. Liking the new shade way better than dealing with that crap!!

You just refuse to embrace the modern world don't you?

Just got everything ready to do some chillin' & grillin'.

Roasted asparagus, roasted coliflour, roasted zucchini and squash with onions and peppers.

Got a bean burger with onion and garlic for the Mrs. Got a jalapino beef burger with cracked peppercorn for me. Gonna be great! Of course I may have fucked myself, usually I have an ice cold Coors beer to put out the fire. Non of those designer beers for me, I got regular people tastes when it comes to beer.

Gonna have to be happy with plain old ice tea. Cross your fingers the doc let's me start having cocktails again.

I think this is longest I've gone without beer or booze since I was 16.

That meal sounds awesome. Even with iced tea. Actually, tea sounds yummy with the food you're having!! Enjoy guys!!

I just sliced up a cantaloupe. Mmmm, love summer flavors. Might make another strawberry rhubarb pie too. First one disappeared way too fast, and I still have some berries.......will get pics this time!! Promise!

And :fingerscrossed: on the doc's call! :)

PS: @Old School makes an excellent point K. Think about what you'll drink first, second, third........when you finally do get the green light again, and how awesome it will be.
