    NICE!!

The timing of this post is funny. Normally it seems like I'm on TW constantly checking in, but today I've barely been on. Just happened to log on basically the moment you posted that. I think that happened for a reason. So that I could be here in your glorious moment to say,:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

HURRAY!!! The sentence is over!! Time to party!! :drunk:

    Holy crap it's hot!

Portland never gets this hot this time of year!! S'posed to be in the 100's this weekend!! Thought about going up in elevation to do some camping and be in the cool forest, but getting all that gear prepped is a real pain, especially in heat like this. Thought about going to the coast, but everybody and their mother goes there when temps get this hot. So we're gonna tough it out at home with our room AC and the mister, probably having both going constantly all weekend!! oooh, and frozen drinks. Whoever invented blenders is a frickin' genius.

Planned to make a pie and cook some bacon this morning. F that. Too hot to turn on anything that generates heat. All activities today must be centered around water.

Hey, I know what I can do!! We are going to paint the house, so I'm assuming I should pressure wash it first, right? The siding is those grooved cedar shingles. I don't think I want to strip the old paint, right? Just pressure wash to remove dirt and any paint that is already damaged/peeling, right? Anyone ever done this before? This is a project I could really be on board with in this heat : ) With breaks in the mister : )

What are temps like where you all are at? What's everyone's weekend plans?

We all know what @koditten will be doing!! :D
