Doing my own home bullshit projects myself.

Been wanting to get rid of using propane for the grill for some time. Finally ran the piping for natural gas to my grill. Going to be converting the grill right after this bottle is empty. I am so tired of taking those 20 pound cans to get refilled. I will definitely enjoy turning a valve vs swapping cans in the middle of a grill session.

Awesome pics, both of the Tacoma and of the crabbing.

I hope that harness works for you, Karl.

Later, got some G & D to do.

    KO out.

    thanks again for the help

if you boil seafood I have a natural gas cooker design you can get set up for $100, much better then buying a $300 natural gas burner

look here if you are interested, it boils an 80 gallon pot half full of water in 30 minutes on standard house pressure natural gas.

this shows the burner setup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5otcRH81bE

this is the burner in action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Shx2UsJc7T0

Aww, you guys are the best!! So you guys DO appreciate other skills besides Tacoma knowledge!?!?!??! Hurray for me!!

I make a mean pie. I promise, it will taste 10 times better than what you can imagine from the pic. I may not be very good at lots of things, but making pie is definitely my "thing" - for sure. :hungry: Seriously wish I knew some simple way to ship pies to people. I just love making them!! And I bet you all would love eating them!! :)

Just got home from groceries and picking up rotors. Went to the grocery store while starving hungry. Big mistake. Or a good thing, pending how you look at it.

Giant sub sandwich to carry us through tomorrow's Taco repairs - CHECK
Potato salad to accompany - CHECK
Jalepeno cheddar bagels, smoked salmon, and cream cheese, just because it's been a while and they are freaking yummy - CHECK
Vanilla ice cream to go with sccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhtrawberry rhubarb pie - CHECK
Some kinda Vanilla Porter, and also a Chocolate Stout of some kind, to make vanilla ice cream and beer floats - CHECK
Root beer, see above - CHECK
Yummy organic seedless watermelon from right here in Oregon - CHECK!
Lots and lots of icy cold Hefe with lemons and Corona with limes - CHECK
    Tequila - CHECK

Hey man, I DID get some produce, right? Watermelon is good for you, so that cancels out the damages from all the other garbage items, right?

Here's a summer drink tip for you coffee drinkers looking to save a buck and make cool coffee drinks at home - make coffee ice cubes!! Started doing that a few days ago, because we LOVE coffee in the mornings but hot coffee when it's a bazillion degrees out really sucks. So we throw some coffee cubes plus some refrigerated coffee in the blender, plus whatever ya want (Eric adds milk, I add Baileys to mine :D errr, I mean ONCE I tried that and it was good ;)). DELISH. And practically free compared to coffee shop coffee.

Then I got all excited at how good those were, so I made watermelon ice cubes too! Blended up some leftover watermelon, poured the liquid in ice trays, and there you go!! Actually drinking water once in a while now that I have some flavor for it!!

Time to get started on that giant sammie...............:hungry:

I will not eat the pie before Eric gets home.

I will not eat the pie before Eric gets home.

I will not eat the pie before Eric gets home.

I will not eat the pie before Eric gets home.

P.S. Apologies to those of you who are starving now :D

First time for organic calorabi on the grill, roasted in ceramic pans, same with califflour, roasted carrots, beets and yellow and green squash.

I have an onion olive burger with sea salt and cracked pepper corns for me. The Mrs has a black bean burger with garlic and onion. The burger goes on a pretzel hun. If you have never tried these buns, you don't know what you are missing. They are awesome! They have totally ruined all other breads for me. I use them to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches now, they are so good.

Steamed artichoke and corn on the cob for sides.

Of course I have a few J & B drinks while grilling the stuff. A plain, old Coors light to go with the meal when actually sitting down. A 24 Oz'er ' cause the 12's get too warm while sitting of course.

Man, you guys do it up in style!! Healthy too! Wow. And it all sounds so yummy!!

Our plan is grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce, salad and bread. We keep it pretty simple.

Those pretzel buns sound killer. I am all about finding some good buns!! :D I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dave's killer bread hamburger buns. They stopped making them for a couple of years, and it was torture. I searched for a replacement, but none held a candle (kinda like trying to replace the Taco - NO CAN DO!) to the delicious Dave's buns.

    And then.

    Something magical happened.

Not only did they start making them again, but...........

COSTCO SELLS THEM!!! AT A GREAT PRICE!!!! IN A HUGE BAG!!! :woot:

Me too!!! I love bread so much that I could totally eat it for dessert. Especially with tons of butter, and the right kind of bread. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

OK, you get to pick 3 items to live on (food and drink) forever - ready, set, go!!!

I'll go 1st. Cheese, bread, and whiskey. :D

EDIT: You don't have to worry about health in this game. You will remain perfectly healthy regardless of what you choose. :D

EDIT #2: More specifically - Tillamook sharp cheddar, Costco sourdough bread (can't remember brand, just know where to find it every time!), and Buffalo Trace.

After enough whiskey, I don't think it matters. I am leaning towards those crab boils Keaker mentioned. I didn't think about them until he had to bring them up. Now that's all I can think about.

There is no place around here for decent crab...thanks, Karl.(sarcasm).
