we gots that thing called French bread but for you, how bout some fresh cooked hot Beignets?

here, while you cooking try these: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/french-quarter-beignets-recipe.html

and for a quick treat cut a biscuit in 4 quarters (or the centers don't cook) and fry it in grease, ready in seconds and it tastes like a fresh donut. eat just like that or sprinkle with powdered sugar or pour a glaze on them. we eat really healthy stuff around here

Sounds familiar. The wife to be and I went on a vacation. Ended up in Minnasota. Next thing I know I'm back in Michigan married...and I don't remember when my money became "our" money. 1996 seems a long time ago.

I can't complain. She put a chip in my shoulder so she could G P S track me. I'm almost potty trained.

By the way, I think Eric takes better pics. It's not too often that a photographer can depict how steep the terrain is with a photo. Those hills were steep. Very nice shots. Thanks.

Not sure how I feel about the part that Eric does something better than me o_O

Although, I must admit, I secretly agree with you, especially about depicting how steep the terrain is.

Fine, he takes better pics. BUT, I make better PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hungry:

nooo, you don't want to do that unless there is absolutely no other choice, just beat on the thicker part with a BFH until the sound changes and that when it releases. also there are threads in the rotor to help push it off when its stuck but do the hammer first.

if you don't have the threaded holes on your rotor or if you just need more force then do this

    Thanks Keak!

He's back at it with the BFH approach. Will keep you guys posted. The old one is rusty as all shit. Definitely time to replace. Glad we are doing this. Might go dink around with paint touch ups on truck and topper while he keeps the BFH going. :D Will take before/after photos of what I have in mind...........

A few examples of things I will be touching up today. Try to clean/spray paint lug nuts, black teeny tiny touch up paint on scratches that have rusted, and MAYBE get brave and paint those things above the tires.

I saw in the FSM about removing the things above the tires, which would be WAY easier than trying to tape off and actually do a good job painting while they are on the truck. Usually my rule of thumb on detailing/cosmetics is if I know I can't really make it look worse, I'll give it a shot. But those things above the wheels - I could see it looking worse if I f' those up. Once Eric is totally done with the brakes, I'll nag him to see about removing them and go from there..........

He had to run back to Oreilly - wrong brake pads. Not sure how that happened........but easily solved, so whatevs. Time to clean some lug nuts :D
