I like the BFH approach to stuck rotors...I did all four on the Accord yesterday, and got all four pads and rotors replaced, plus complete system bleeding for all four corners, all in four hours.

Did you torque the lug nuts to 100 foot pounds?

my 18" 4 way gets em torqued perfectly every time

when the tire places put my rims on I immediately loosen the lugs, add never seize to them, and then retighten them myself with the 4 way because I find they almost always over torque them to where you can hardly break them loose. I had some where the 4 way was bending a little trying to break the lugs loose and I always worry they might be seized up on me one day trying to change a tire on the side of the road.

Yeah but only a little!! We don't wanna make her TOO perfect looking. Taco's a wilderness gal, not an outlet mall gal!! She likes having a little bit of dirt still. :D

How's that for a justification? Anyone convinced?? :D

collecting splitting mauls or 1lb ball peens? There are probably three or four mauls around the shop or the woodpile, and I got a great deal on a skid of 8lb sledge hammers with bad handles and bent crow/pry/wrecking bars, plus some groovy long handled conduit/tubing benders. All three of the sledges got new handles and two of the bars would straighten, the last one snapped under the 20 ton press...now I have sledges in the 4,6,8,10,12 and 16lb size.

Plus there is a brand new, unopened bottle of Buffalo Trace, Barrell #134 on the counter and I just put a 8lb pork loin on the smoker. The honda stops on a dime now, the pulse is gone, the M37 came apart yesterday for a leaking axle seal, and a graded the lane with a box spreader behind ATV, been a productive weekend.

No more swinging the split maul for me,,had my fun with that for many many years.

Pour yourself a drink and split wood!. Gods gift to splitting wood the thinking mans way. Picked up a ebay knock off and mounted it to a tossed away 6 hp Honda pressure washer motor and made a tapered shield to protect the motor as the pieces peel apart. Easy and entertaining,,for us PNW knuckledraggers. Not mine, but similar.
