Ha!! Very good. That's the one I tried to convince Eric we should get along with that 4R. It's a coupe, but it wouldn't really matter if we had all 3 vehicles. And I like the way the coupe Civics look a little better than the sedans - they've still got the pancake syndrome but it looks a little sportier or something. He didn't go for it. So I'm searching 4 door blah-ville over here.

and use play sand instead of salt because its cheaper plus so you don't have to explain why there is salt everywhere, with sand you can just say its from being a trip to the beach :D

Not bad! But we're hoping to go for 2011 or newer, because the interest rate would be lower than it is on something 2010 or older. But I am considering stuff that's 2010 & older if it's super awesome, because the rate diff. isn't huge.

Do you know how it compares to a Yaris as far as teeny tiny interior?

Nah. Too much $. It seems like Corollas have gotten slightly cheaper than Civs. I am finding more decent quality (low miles, clean hx) Corollas for a reasonable price than Civs.

Except for that one that we found. Which makes me even more suspicious that something might be up with it. Hope not!!

I know. I found a brand new Corolla for $16K this morning. A 2015 with zero miles. But I think we'd rather keep it a few thousand cheaper than that, so that we have better flexibility if a problem comes up with the Taco anytime soon. But if we did decide to spend that much, I'd get the one that has zero miles and full warranty. Haven't 100% ruled that out yet, but leaning away from it.......

Have you asked any local dealers if they have any 2015 demo Corolla's or Civics?

You might be able to get one cheap that would have full warranty and only dealership miles. My parents often buy demo vehicles to save some cash.
