I just let wish I had access to any straight gas.

I would have no issue with any no matter the octane.

If needed Kodit, I am sure there is a race shop and or a Sunoco vendor close by. Grab some SS 100,, no lead no Alky. Probably the best you could do in Michigan. Only $8.60 a gallon,,,easy money!

You mean you wish you had access to any non ethanol gas? Don't you have any stations around you at all? What about these?

It's pretty weird, coming from Illinois. Still gets me, even after being in Oregon nearly 15 yrs! One year we were mowing at Christmas.

    lol.

I seen "any straight gas",,and,,"no matter the octane" in that post. You kicked the door open,,,.

Pimped out, hotrodded snowblower,, digging down, huckin rocks and limbs over the neighbors fence.

BTW how is premium going to run hotter in a mower. Thinking it out, the mower has no way to adjust it's timing so it's going to burn the fuel at the same timing and rate no matter what the octane is. So if that's true, and premium has no more energy per gallon in it, how is the engine going to run hotter when the same amount of energy is produced.

Saying premium runs hot in lawn mowers is sounding like something that is based off of the old wives tale that there is more energy per gallon in premium than regular.

    Nother funny story:

I have a walk behind Honda snow blower. This thing will toss snow over the house. It launches the snow.

My yellow lab was getting up in years. I would snow blow him an area to do his business. Let me tell you, frozen dog turds will get flung a long ways with a Honda snow blower.

Fast forward to the spring. I take my aluminum fishing boat out on the water. My buddy Mike asks me why there are dog turds in the boat. The damn blower threw those turds almost 100 feet!

Just mowed for 1st time with new Honda mower. Holy crap, you aren't kiddin!! Powerful!! That thing is the bomb. The grass and ridiculous amounts of leaves from neighbor's oak tree were sopping wet. Old mower would clog and die every 10' in those conditions.

New Honda just plowed right through, light as a feather to maneuver, sucking up all the wet soppy leaves and grass no problem. :) I am completely in love. Pressure washer has some competition for fave small engine in this house now....

    And, pie is done!!!!!!!!! :D

    Cheers TW

PS, thanks for the dog turd story, that one was a true gem!! :D
