Hard to talk about right now. Basically, I am probably starting over on my own in the coming months. And yes, moving east is not my first choice for lots of reasons, but that's where most of my peeps are - the midwest and the northeastern corner of the US. I've got a few peeps in Oregon, but not nearly as many that I am really close to as I do in the midwest and NE. Tough decisions to make.

But the Taco is still going strong!! Thought about selling her, anyone interested? I still love her though, but it really would be a shame to see her frame rot in no time if moving east. Unfortunately that decision is way down on the priority list right now though, too much other more important stuff to figure out first. But I would be curious if anyone wants to make an offer........

prayers, best wishes, and hugs go out to you my friend

as for the taco, no worries there, keep it, it will last another 10 years minimum before the rust has time to take its toll on it in any marked way and by then it wont matter anyway.

its so sudden and surprising to hear of your sudden breakup but trust in him and god will guide you to a better happier place.

Tough words to type for sure. What does one say?. Fuck it.(apologize)

Time does repair,,it just doesn't happen fast enough for anyone, and cannot be rushed by the rules apparently. Things do spring back and surprise ones self occasionally. Don't count on that, never count on that,,it's a redneck false hope, but something to cling to in a sense. Never say never.

Holy crap, I think that made sense. Rare form today.

Thanks for the support guys.

I'm still here, still have my computer. Even got a smartphone! :D And, have even been texting!! :D Still a ton to learn on fully utilizing that little machine with so many different functions, but one step at a time for right now.

We're going to take a shot at salvaging this situation. Scared but hopeful right now. Cross those fingers and toes for me that we can make this thing work guys. It's bad, real bad actually, but I am willing to give it a shot. We'll see..........

Wow, and I thought the Taco tragedies were hard times!?!?!?!? This gives a new definition to the term "hard times" !!! Makes swapping out every part on a '98 Taco look like a cakewalk!!

But at least I'm still laughing! :rofl:Gimme some good humor guys, I could use it right now!! :)

    Hi TW peeps!

Things are looking up. Apparently I am way more forgiving than I ever gave myself credit for, which is a really good thing right now. Looks like the Taco will remain rust free, cuz I'm staying in Oregon! At least for now. But hopefully forever, if things continue to go as well as they have been. Loving life again. :) Been having some fun driving around in the Taco on some long drives to think things over, and lemme tell ya, I ♥ that Taco. :) Can't wait for the next road trip. :burnrubber: Thinking about heading to the coast for my bday in a couple weeks - the big FOUR O!!!!!!!! :annoyed:

What's going on with all of you lately? How's everybody's Tacos running? Anyone have any cool road trips lately?

I almost posted a question recently about one of the Taco's heat vents making a funny noise.

Then I realized it was because it was closed shut. :D

Yep, I'm basically a top notch mechanic nowadays.

See ya soon, take care everybody!! :)

I have no idea why I'm not getting updates to this thread.

Only 7 years til the wife and I spend the cold months on the west coast.

So happy to hear that things are positive.

So happy right now. Btw., I wanna party with Dolly's dad. I need an estrogen free day.
