[SOLVED]Q: how to turn ON the arming alarm beep-2019 Tacoma

    Solved! I took the Tacoma to the dealership, Parts Dept. was confused and didn't know what direction to go, but Service had their alarm tech look at it....fixed in 5 seconds!

    Solution: Insert ignition key, turn on / then off. Press on red area of the alarm thingy(see pic below) several times until a beep sounds. Done and done. :thumbsup:

    Glad it’s solved, which model is it because on my OR (premium & tech) those options are through the head unit.


    On mine they put that switch right in front of the obd2 port.....weird.

    Absolutely no idea what that reply meant!

    The head unit is the radio....you can set lock confirmation tone volume though settings app.....unless I’m missing something or the 18 is different

    which model truck you have usually helps, the different trim packages have different features.

    ....anything about the px look familiar?

    My display is different for what you have. There is a "beep" checkbox but checking or unchecking has no effect on the door lock audible.
