    Cool idea.I like that it utilizes the factory rail system with the t-nuts. I’d need caged ones and not open j hook style. Rods would bounce out on the trails along the rivers out here.

    Lots of folks around here use pieces of PVC and then just hook a rubber band around the rod to keep it from rattling and possibly damaging it. You can drill a hole through both sides so that you can put a mounting bolt or screw through one side then access it with a screwdriver through the other. I had two aluminum bars with holders for two rods on the inside of the shell on my last Tacoma; tried to find a picture but I don't have any on this computer. Redneck engineering.
