first post after the intro, glad you all maintain this forum.

you can call me Hezekiah, or Hez.....or even "idjit", if you want, I know i'm preaching to the choir, prior to July 14, I've driven every brand of truck offered in these here States United, searched for my Tacoma for 4 years up here, my township has 152 folks, finally found it in July 15, thanks to my brother, 15 miles south, a 2011 Tacoma, 2.7L, 4X4, standard, 57k on it, access cab, everything clean, not only the truck, but the VIN, it wasn't setting in a flood, starts and runs like 2011, etc etc etc.

and there isn't any truck that drives like this one, its a whole new world, that's the preaching to the choir bit. Now I got a bunch of skill sets, but I will freely admit, one of them aint working on anything automotive (folks that don't know, or are AFRAID to say the three magic words, "i don't know", set themselves up for a world of hurt, imho)

so I need to ask a real simple question, the tires that came with the Tac are swell, summer of 16 is coming up, but by the fall, I want to get me the biggest baddest bear paws that can fit and grip, cause when winter hits up here, its the real deal, and brothers, I ask you for advice....whats the best?

the second build up I need is a cowcatcher up front, coz Bucky buck skin and his girl Bambi don't carry insurance papers, and deer outnumber people up here.....my other brother can put her on, but what hellacious off the rack cowcatcher would be the best for folding money?....at dusk or dawn, believe me, I rachet down my speed on the road into our county seat, and if did hit one, you can believe within a short period of time, that wood goat is going to be in the back, set for processing.

so just two simple requests for your combined knowledge, and I sure do appreciate any help with counsel and advice, God love you all, Hez

Arb bumpers are specifically designed for animal strikes, though you will need firmer front springs to handle the weight. Other steel plate numbers should work too. Any of the brush/bull bars won't help, they are just for looks and won't help.

Duratracs are a good wet weather winter tire, though I'm sure others will chime in with their favorites.
