I lost one too and that was all I needed to buy a new offroad bumper. I noticed my buddy's was missing one too. I'm going to give him mine as a late Christmas present.

So I get to work today and someone stops me and says they saw someone messing with my truck yesterday. Turns out they know who they are and work in the same building.

I was loading a canoe on top of the truck this summer, stepped on one of those bolt covers, and busted it off. Instead of the 3 tabs that secure it, I used a bead of epoxy to glue the broken one back on. They've stayed put since.

If they ever need to come off, I'll destroy them then and replace.

Yeah, someone kept on stealing my centercaps for my oem wheels at work a while ago.

It turns out he was the brother of a guy that works in the building. He would use his keycard to gain access to the structure on his flex days and go around fishing for open doors or stealing things off cars.

Did I mention my parking structure is also where the PD parks their vehicles, with cops around all the time? Yeah.

No need for a whoopin when I can walk in to their office and arrest them in front of their co-workers.

They picked the wrong truck to mess with.

I have a theory about how we lose these bolt caps... One I went to visit my brother up in Arizona he used the space where the bolt caps as a step which loosens them... and then as you drive you lose em!

Not the route I wish to take. I'll see what he has to say about it. If he's smart he'll just say he screwed up.

I was at a 4 wheel Parts off road sponsored event when I lost mine. I know it was stolen because my truck was really dusty EXCEPT for the spots where the thief's fingers cleaned the dust around the bolt covers. I probably could have gotten fingerprints, but it seemed silly over a $7.00 part. It is just really annoying.
