Some fun in a 2wd taco...

So my dumb ass thought it would be a good idea to take a 2wd tacoma work truck through a muddy/grassy retention pond (mostly empty). Well I made it across a couple of times (surprisingly) and promptly got stuck on the way back.


You can't really see the mud, but it's under the grass.

Probably would have had a better chance without the Honda Civic tires.

It wasn't fun at all now that I think about it...
Hooking up a tow strap and watching the f250 yank it around like a ragdoll was pretty good entertainment though.. I'm never going to hear the end of this!
My friends got about a million pictures of this, so it'll end up all over facebook soon enough

Lmao, don't worry Brother I feel your pain. My friends did laps around my truck and took pics while I was stuck in a river crossing.

Amazing what 4wd will do ... just that 1 extra tire pulling you up front works wonders

 

My friend with the F250 sunk a brand new F150 into some nasty ruts one time and I took a TON of photos and posted them all over the place... this was his way of getting back at me

 

The cool thing is someone has it all on video

I realized about five minutes in what a horrible idea it was, so I figured the best thing to do is take it in jest!

I agree, if it were my truck (this is one in our inventory, not mine personally.) I would go 4wd, with a v6 and manual transmission.

 

Our cameras got it all as well, and we have it on our phones.. It's safe to say I'm going to be thoroughly embarrassed for a while!
