That sucks man, and yeah I don't like it either. When I do, sure enough they will be paying to get it fixed.

I feel ya man. One time at Walmart (this could be a pun on it's own) I parked and I was imagining how much more clearance I would have on the van next to me when I finally get my new leaves installed. I had just bought them, but not yet had them installed, and I was excited. I go in for something small--in there less than 10 mins. I come out; the van I was next to is gone and there's a dent on the tail end of the bed behind the passenger wheel. I couldn't believe it.

I got over it fairly quickly, but for a while after I imagined being there just so I could cuss out that poor soul who couldn't back out without grazing my truck.

Sorry to hear about what happened but it looks like you popped it out pretty good for the most part. I know, I cant stand people that dont have respect for other peoples property so whoever it was hopefully the officer got it on tape. If not Karma is a b**** and they will get whats coming to them!!!

If you even think for a second that the car next to you might ding your vehicle use your phone to take a pic of their back plate with a shot of your side in the frame...Then if something happens you have a before pic...and if nothing happens you delete it...seems paranoid, but nobody is going to help you out when you get dinged..

Hah, actually the dent would only have been 25% as bad--about 1.75 inches of lift. Should I have had a wrap around bumper the damage would have been on the van! :D

Problem is, unless you see them do it, you have no way to prove that it was them.

I've watched people pull out of a space, someone else try to pull in and smack the car in the next stall, then back out and park somewhere else (and yes, I was a nice guy and left a note on the damaged car with the license number of the car that hit them).
