What lift, alignment numbers, and tire psi are you running? That tire wear is excessive and will get costly fast. At the very least, have an alignment check.

Take a benjamin out of your modding budget and add one of these.

 

Tire cupping can be caused by poor alignment or worn shocks.

Low tire pressure will aggravate the problem.

Agreed. In one of the pics he posted it also looked like the outside tread was in rough (not as bad as inside) shape. Wondering if it's a combination of toe-out and under-inflated...

 

The fab looks awesome, I've got the same Miller welder.

 

I'm at about 34 psi in front and 30 in rear.
I've had it aligned multiple times and had all my suspension components checked. They said I might have bad shocks (bilstein 5100) they've been on for about 70k now

More than likely your truck is toe’d in or out to much. Will need an alignment

it could be excessive camber, but I doubt that.

Those are good machines. I've thought about the same thing and throwing it on a truck and start my own mobile welding biz.

I would look at shocks first, then ball joints and tie rods. Assuming they all have 70k on them.... any off roading??

 

I offroad a fair amount. I have a gold mining claim in Wickenburg that is on some really rough roads. The truck has 105k miles. The shocks are pushing 70k probably

 

That's your problem most likely... but the ball joints, upper and lower can cause this issue as well. Even if it tracks straight and drives fine.
