    So replace shocks first then?

I would... they technically shouldn't go past 45k
Especially if using them off road.

Nice, I'm seriously considering it too. A honda generator alone is the same price as these, if not more. Plus, I have a Miller plasma cutter that won't run on my 3kW generator and I need to run a compressor, as well. It would be great to have everything mobil.

What shock/spring setup would y'all recommend with my bumper that probably weighs 150lbs?

Do it. Let me know if you get work. If so I might develop the balls to do the same.

I would go with a ome or another bilstein, paired with I think a 886 spring (equivalent to a 700lb king, fox or icon)

The good thing is....it looks to be mainly just the bumper cover.

Where do I go for the best deal on the 5100/spring combo?

Defintelly will. I was looking at a bigger Honda generator to run everything and it'll take 8000 continous watts to just run the 211 and they're like $5000 for the generator. I'm into clean power.

Then I saw the Miller bobcats. The only thing is they're 500lbs, so it's leave it in the bed or put it on a trailer, or make your own trailer. ;)

Why would worn out shocks cause inside tire wear ? Also doesn't Bilstein have a 5 year warranty ?

Worn shocks will allow the tire to "hop". So, the tire doesn't make firm contact with the road. As the cupping become worse, the "hopping" becomes more severe, cupping increases....... Its a downhill slide on a slippery steep slope.

Bad alignment can focus the cupping in one area of the tire. Your case, the inside.

You may have multiple compounding problems, worn shocks, bad alignment, worn suspension components. These can all aggravate the problem. Repairing one may not resolve the problem.

Suggest replacing the shocks, then getting into a front end shop for a complete front suspension check.

    powder coated hood support.
Sounds like you have a good plan, but I would still check with your neighbors for security camera footage and make the hit and run culprit pay for your project.

Ok, so now I'm looking at springs to pair with the 5100s
I'm at a toss up between 885 springs and 886.
I have a heavy front bumper (you've seen the pics) I want something to support the extra weight while I also don't want a super stiff ride.

    Open to opinions...

Can you weigh the OEM bumper and the aftermarket bumper? Your answer is in the weight difference.

If you removed 100 lbs and added 150 lbs, then probably use the current springs. Split between the front wheels...its only 25 lbs more.

If you removed 100 lbs and added 350 lb, then you may need to use heavier springs.

Do you carry weight of 400lb in the bed all the time at the moment?
That is going to stiffen the rear end real bad.
I would suggest a leaf pack suited to your needs.

This is the reason why I park far out in a parking lot, and if I can’t, I still try to park as far away from everyone as possible. I’ve even parked in an opposing restaurant’s parking lot, just to be away from other cars, even though my truck is 11 years old.

I usually don't carry alot of weight but when I tow my little camper the sag is terrible. I only have the 2 leaf pack from the factory.

The plastic bumper that came off the truck probably only weighed 10 lbs.
I'm guessing the new bumper is in the neighborhood of 100-150 lbs
