Another date I forgot about-

-AT&T girl.
For those of you not in the midwest, at&t is a phone company. She came around trying to sell me some service. She was super hot, but had her co-worker with her. Dang. I decided to try out their internet service. It sucked so I canceled it. She came around again about 6 months later, solo this time She was selling their fiber optic service which I had been wanting to try. After like 2 hours of talking and working the services out I had my new service on order and a date for the weekend.

Maybe it was a pity date because this girl was probably out of my leage for being so damn hot. I think she was about 23 vs my 25? or 26 at the time. I picked her up at her (parents) house. Pretty nice place. We went to dinner and then met with her friends afterwards and she bought drinks. I asked about her job and I think she thought I was making fun of her door to doors sales? I dunno, just making convo. Had a good night and never heard from her again. I don't get it?

I asked questions like- How many sales do you think you get a month, or what kind of packages do people normally get, and are you paid commission or just flat rate? Different pay based on different packages? How many people slam the door in your face when they find out you are trying to sell something. Ya know, like questions that everyone wants to know but don't get the chance to ask. I thought they were legit. She was going on about how it's a stepping stone to a different position in the company and she was going to make more this and that. I'm like, whoa, I am just asking. She took it as me bad-mouthing her job just because I was asking questions about it.

 

I know dude. Im not laughing at you, i just thought it was funny how you worded it. Some girls are very sensitive, as im sure you know. You can say something completely innocent and she might interpret it as a total slight. One instance like this and its over.

I once dated a chick for a few months. We got along pretty well. I liked her, she liked me. We went out alot and had fun. She ended it because one night i was "too quiet". The fact of the matter was that she was kind of a bad conversationalist (i really didnt mind, she was beautiful), and I simply ran out of things to talk about. Oh well...

BTW, I work for at&t, thats why i thought the other comment was funny...

 

OMG, almost forgot about another little polish or russian girl. I forget what she was.

I met this one on the internet as well. We talked on the internet for a bit. She worked at a legal firm and told me how the older guys there would always talk dirty to her and about her in front of her....I am like, uh, ok... Then.....NOTHING. Falls off the face of the planet for like 8 months. Out of nowhere I get an email. Being single I took the opportunity to meet another single girl.... even if she did blow me off for 8 months. She sounded pretty easy and I thought maybe it was a sure thing.

We meet at a bar down the street from my house. It was a 30 min drive for her and I had to hear about it quite a few times that night. I also had to hear about how I wasn't having a good time and how I could just leave if I wanted to. I tell ya, if there was anyone that was annoying, this was her. She was telling me how I felt about everything! How I thought she wasn't pretty, how I was bored with her and all kinds of stuff. She also decided to mention prior boyfriends and fiance she was engaged to and stuff along that nature. I am thinking to myself, jeezus, I don't want this girl to know where I live!!

The night ends and she starts telling me how I (as in me) won't want a second date with her...and this and that. I was totally dumbfounded, I had no idea what to even say because I didn't want to see her again lol. She sends me an email a couple days later and I follow up saying I don't think she was the right fit for me....and she went off the wall! I suggested she not tell future dates what they are thinking and to avoid mentioning (aka badmouthing) prior boyfriends or fiances on the first date. She still emails me out of the blue sometimes. CRAZY!!

She talked a lot about sex that night... It would have been an EASY lay...but sometimes, it just ain't worth it!

 

Wow, I thought I was unlucky when it comes to love and have dated some chicks that were nuts. Thanks for making me feel better about my love life.
My dating experiences have been similar to your's. The girl seems cool at first and then after a while the crazy comes out. Then after things are over they tell me what a loser I am and how Im always going to be alone and whatnot, yet they continue to e-mail, call, text and IM me every now and then. If Im such a loser, why are these chicks trying to maintain contact with me? LOL Oh well, life goes on.
I used to think that there were at least few good ones out there who arent crazy and dont have issues, but that is starting to fade. Now I'll just be thankfull if I can find one who acts normal at least half the time.

I got one for ya. I was dating this girl who seemed cool and whatnot at first and then after I met her family and her family told her they liked me and she met my family and my family said they liked her, she started acting all insecure and told me that she wanted me to start working out and didnt want me to have long hair because she said that if I were in shape it would just make her feel worse about herself (she was kinda chunky, not bad though) and that she feared some cute little blonde would come along and steal me away from her.
Then, she didnt want me to say a word about her to my family because she was paranoid that my family didnt like her and would try to lead me away from her.
Finally, she started hanging out with her friend more and more, telling me that she didnt want things to get serious right away (if she didnt want things to be serious right away, why have me meet her family and come meet my family???), that she couldnt let herself fall for me until she knew everything there is to know about me and that it would probably be a year or more before she was affectionate towards me.
She told me that she wanted a little space, so I gave her that, yet she was calling and texting me at least 3-5 times a day and after a while got pissed at me, saying that I never call her (why would I call her all the time when she told me she wanted a little space???).
I tried to be cool with it and give her time, but after a while I got sick of her BS and told her if thats the way its gonna be, this is goodbye.
I can understand being a little insecure at first, but after 2 1/2 months I think a person should be pretty much over all that, especially when I told her how much I liked her and that I wanted a future with her.

 

Well, you live in WI...which is considered the midwest by me. So, naturally you are in the same boat of crazies as I am. It must be the cold or something. Although, I think people in WI are generally nicer than the chicago area. Too bad they can't drive worth a damn when outside of WI though. I will say, they do much better in the snow than the idiots of chicago though. Not to get off topic!

I am willing to accept one that acts crazy half of the time as well.

 

Dunno, man. I'll tell you one thing though, I used to think I was really missing out by not being in a relationship, but now that Ive had some girlfriend and dealt with the constant drama and BS, being single isnt so bad.
As for the driving skills of WI vs IL, lets not get into that. You dont want to get me started on FIBs.

Yup and I dont think thats too much to ask. All you can do is move on, try again and not let things make you bitter.

yeah maby. But everything was great until I ran out of things to say for 2 min. She could have jumped in at any time, but instead, she sat there looking like she just took a hit of nitrous.

LOL...wow. Thats one of those deals where you just say it wasnt meant to be and you are probably better off without that chick.
If she dumped you because of something silly like that, chances are it wouldnt have worked out in the long run and nothing you would have done would have been right or good enough for her.

 

Your exactly right she was extremely picky about everything. yeah she was a trippy chick. When i first called her i talked 99.9% of the time, she was soooo quiet. I thought "well she doesnt like me". Then a half hour later I got a text saying "I really had a great time talking to you, and I would love to meet you, and so on". Weird. I thought this would go away. In person she would have sudden bursts of "talkativeness" then she would just agree and laugh at everything i said. I had to initiate every conversation, it was kinda annoying. I would pay to get into a club then we would walk inside and she would say "its too crowded in here", so we would leave and I would be out $50.00 right there. No apology or anything. She didnt come off as spoiled or anything, it was just like she really didnt know how to act. but she was very beautiful and that makes up for alot. at least for awhile. I was bummed for awhile but then i got to thinking. Now i have an awesome girl who i love so its all good.

I AT&T and Verizon wireless will be converging in the near-future(don't know when). I have both services, I got a letter from AT&T saying they will be making modifications to their towers so they can work with VZW.

 

Good Gawd, I had probably 15-20 bad dates when I was single.

When I moved to California, I had never had a girlfriend. I was 23. Sort of a shy guy. Anyway, I discovered craigslist, which I soon found was about the damned easiest way to meet women. A hell of a lot easier than going to bars and whatnot.

Here's the "Bad" dates I can remember. There are probably a lot more. I don't recall most of their names because this was 6-7 years ago.

1: Girl with poofy hair. We talked on the phone for a few days. Went out to a movie. We watched the movie and she went home. Never talked to her again.

2: Crazy Southern girl. I thought: "Hey, a southerner in Cali! At least we're from the same area." Well, she was pretty cute, but as soon as she came over to my apartment, she took a liking to my house mate, who was not single. I sent her packing

3: Porn star girl. She was a slightly overweight black woman with HUGE knockers. Turned out she made homebrew porn movies. She drank pure ever clear on the first date. She wasn't into me at all. I was kind of sad about that one. Could've been two tons-o-fun.

4: Insanely tall girl. I got revenge on my house mate. This 6 ft 3 chick he was dating suddenly took a liking to me, which was odd: I'm 5 ft 7". So we went out drinking quite a bit. She was kind of awkward. We made it through 2 dates.

5: Supermodel girl. She was this stunning former black model from NYC. She was mind-blowingly hot. She was from a wealthy family, had gone to Yale, knew three languages, and liked me for some reason. Only problem is that she had Herpes, and there was no way in hell I'd touch that. Short of messing around, that was basically it. That was my first long-term relationship. 2 months. When we broke up, she said she needed someone of her "Own calibre"... whatever that meant.

6: Crazy redhead girl. We went on one date. She turned on some music in the car and I tapped my fingers a bit on the glass. She went APE SHIT, stopped the car, and told me NOT TO DO THAT!!! I got out of the car and left.

7: Pomeranian girl. She had 5 Pomeranian dogs. She was pretty cute, but like 99.9999% of the women I met, she had an issue with the fact that I wasn't some 6 ft 5 huge guy, and she being 5 ft 6" and all, she just knew that if she wore heels, she would be taller than me, which was unacceptable. One date- if you could call it that.

8:Firehouse girl. I call her that because she actually lived in a really bad part of West Oakland in what had been a firehouse. She was pretty cool. Kind of hipsterish. We dated probably a month then she broke up with me for the same reasons as no.7.

9: Redhead designer girl. Out of all the people I dated, she was the nicest. Cute, intelligent, and talented. We hit it off immediately. Probably would've been "The one" had she not also had Herpes. Lasted 3 months making her my 2nd long-termer.

10: Crazy photography chick. She was a super-artsy-fartsy tall girl. We hit it off and had loads of fun. Then one night I farted. She went ballistic. That was the end.

11: Asian girl. She lived an hour away and I drove to her house every week. Wasn't really a dating situation. More of a friends with benefits thing. She was pretty cute. Then she met a rich guy.

12: Met the girl of my dreams and married her and glad as hell I'm not single anymore.
