I'm unclear why Avondale didn't perform that update? The update is the easiest part.

Not necessarily. They would have to find that the new intake and exhaust would have caused the mechanical breakdown and that's pretty hard to do. Why didn't you just get the TRD exhaust !!! Lol.

Cause I am not a TRD nutt like some of the peeps are. Just looking into intakes for now that would be good improvement over stock and still be reliable off road.

Airaid intake. No need to look any further. Some good options out there but the Airaid is not quite as loud as the others and servicing the filter is a whole lot easier. I actually worked with them directly to develop the intake for the 3rd gen and it turned out great. I am also running their prototype throttle body spacer as well.

Sometimes I hate you...lol I saw you had it on there and looked good I forgot to message you about it and how you liked it. Wish I had those kind of hookups lol. I will have to look into them and go from there then.

I just got lucky, thats all. But I can help you get employee pricing which will save you. What I can say is that two friends of mine have AFE intakes. Both of them want to get rid of their AFE and get an airaid

That would be cool. I was debating between AFE and Airaid. That kind helps decide a a lot more. Is it mainly due to the build quality or what that is making them wanna swap? Pretty easy install I'm sure?

Ease of servicing the filter, the AFE is a PITA and sound. AFE is quite a bit more loud. The Airaid has a good growl but isn't annoyingly loud

Haha I might not come back with how clean/awesome your ride is. I debating between the clean front end you have with the ghost winch or get aftermarket front end, but I have to say I am leaning more towards the clean look and stealth approach.

Hard to beat that SDHQ winch mount. Subtle and definitely adds some heft to the front end. That SSO slimline bumper is a good hybrid between a new bumper and a stealth mount. For me, keeping things clean was the direction I wanted to go.

definitely! Decided to go full retard and got the very top of the line. I've just messed around with it a little, but man, it's NICE!!! Plus, given the location of the winch, it's very nice not having to reach behind the grill to disengage the clutch. 100% wireless all the way. Again, you're welcome to check mine out first. I'll be doing another lift on Saturday morning if you want to swing by my house.
