whatever you do, DON'T buy a wildlife innovations, at least that is my recommendation. I have one, out of the box worked great, moved to another spot, stopped working. Called the CSR and told him my woes, i.e, no pics with obvious traffic in front of a feeder, new batteries, compatible card, etc. He told me send in back. Sent today, we shall see what comes of it.

id love to have one of the cams that instantly sends the pics to your computer but theyre a little to pricey for me. i use a 2.5'' moultrie screen that plugs right into my moultrie trail cam so i can leave the cam right on the tree and still look a the pics taken.

    That would be excellent.

I've got a Bushnell Bone Collector. It's only like 4" x 6". I just use 2 different SD cards. Take one down to the camera, change it out, check the pics on the computer when I get back to the house.

at least they took it back, that is cool. i like the ones i have, they work great, and they are cheap. the only trouble i have had is on a few times on cold mornings, the lense would frost up. i don't think there is much i could do about that though. it has happend a 2 or 3 times, no big deal.

i know that would be cool, but they are expensive. i can by several cameras for what one of those cost, and cover alot more area.:D

lol, yea their mine. when i first got the cameras, i set them at 3 shot
burst every 10 seconds. i quickly learned that if you set corn in front of the cameras, it will take no time to run down the batteries. i got over 1,700 pictures on one camera in less than 24 hours. the deer would just camp out there all night long. i now have it taking 3 shots every 30 seconds. i still get a ton of pictures.

the corn seems to last longer if
i just take a 2 gallon bucket full and scatter it like throwing out grass
seed. it takes them longer to find each piece. if you pour out one pile,
they will just eat it up in now time flat.

i have better quality photos than those, the day ones are all on
over cast days. it is 3 meg in daylight, and 1. something at night.

it is a IR camera, that is why the pictures are in black and white at night. it dosen't flash, it just has bunch of red led lights that come on and off.
i hunted next to one one night, when the light comes on, it dosen't light
up the area at all. i thought it was going to be this bright red light, like a
camera flash, except in red. the deer are not bothered by it at all.

i looked at others, but this one got better reviews than more expensive ones. i bought 3, and after the season, i am going to get 4 or 5 more.
i am sure you will be able to get some deals on game cameras after christmas and in january. they don't come with a memory card, but i just
get the 4 meg ones from wal-mart. they are like $12. i had a 2 meg one fill up once.

These are from a Wildview EZ Cam. Lots of does regularly, but here's a nice 8-point one night. The neighbor up the road got him early opening day!

Got word the other day that this big 11 point was shot from the road. That sucks. Rumor around here is the guy's wife saw it on her way home, called her husband, he shot it from his truck while it was on private property.

when I asked the guy what was wrong with it, he told me "I don't know, we don't check them, it's a turnkey operation, the cameras are made in China, so we just ship out a new one." I wonder what the markup is on these.....

they most likely pay b/w $20 and $40 each for them if i had to guess. there is big mark ups on most everything in retail. that is how they make duckets.
