Well she is officially boosted:burnrubber: headers on. 7th injector kit installed. Need to still do my gauges. Still need to get a external fuel pump(ordered) then throw her on the dyno. Also have to redo my freshly finished muffler/exhaust install:bananadead: trying to make it quieter.

Engine bay is about wrapped up for a good while. Had my old k&n intake so cut it up to make it fit and make the truck a little cleaner under the hood. Before and after

Cut a bunch to shorten the intake and rerouted it a little. Not the best but should be better than the stock worn out one

Small update. Dropped the truck off to mikey at fab lab to get some stuff done. Two derale tran coolers with fans, trans was definitely not happy before lol. Wanted cbr but with the space I had I couldn't. Got my interior lights mounted. Rear light whip(per wife gifted so threw it on there). Also got my radio and intercom mounted. Fixed/finished my exhaust with (2) 2.5" cats and 2.5" magnaflow muffler. On 4 of July ima finally wire everything in the truck. Then off to dirtskum to finish off the last of the thing on the interior I wanted:drunk:

Wired up the truck finally. Just have to do the siren and GPS once it's installed. Switch pro is amazing FYI. Wired front light bar. Dual horns. Intercom radio. Interior and trunk lights. Dual tran fans. Light whip. Dirtskum at the end of the month to get the interior wrapped up then gauges for boost/afr/voltage gauge then dyno tune the truck and ready for the season
:burnrubber: finally close to getting the truck where I wanted it.

Pretty much finished wiring up all I needed to.siren gps(not installed yet) and back up camera(its zip tied on to see where I want it or how I like it). Next up is dirtskum to work some magic and then install s/c gauges and a tune. Funny once I had the gps in the dash just to see how it would look there was a click that the truck is finally where I imagined it over a year ago. So needless to say I'm happy where it's at. Still more to come but more of a future plan to only make it better. And for people always asking this truck will probably never get a damn v8 swap. Don't want to.

Haha that's the point. If it blows another 3.4 will go in. Yours is more of a race truck anyways. Mines an over kill of a adventure rig:rofl:

Nothing new really. Got some track boards(knock offs) and also ordered a higher amp alternator. Also took the truck out to the night race recently. Cruised around had fun. Tested everything I wired. No issues.

Finally was able to drop the truck off to dirtskum to clean up the interior look. Can't wait to have my vision of the interior to be complete. Also got my alternator finally.when I get the truck back will install and then tow the truck out to powderpuff race in Barstow. Should be a fun weekend. Just over a month to go.

Race recap. I did one lap prerunning and then my wife did two. On race day was battling the motor getting hot few laps in. Removed the hood and ran fine. For my wife driving the truck only once before was impressed how well she handled the truck. Topped out at 68mph. Used the arm as a skid plate and did some damaged. But kept going and finished the race. Drove the truck around after and still fine just gotta change and get the truck working better. Already knew the truck was too soft upfront but we ran it anyways. It's a truck :anonymous: broke two belts due to rocks in the pulleys and making sharp edges. I was told steering was bent and the cross member as well. Was planning of TTBs but when she came back to pit found out it was just the front diff lol. So keeping a arms:rofl:so gonna change up the lower part of the bumper. New lower arms. Fix diff and axle issue at this time. Few small things to go through since I'll probably tear the truck apart now(OCD about things not being how they should be) overall fun experience and wife wants her own truck:bananadead:
