Apple is losing their shock and awe as all these new phones make their way to the hands of consumers.

If not for jailbreaking, the iphone would have been gone a year ago.

the droid platforms are equally capable. The only thing they don't have is 95,000 useless apps and itunes (I dislike itunes)

I love my jailbroken iphone but if it wasn't jailbroken it wouldn't be anything that special in todays market.

uh no, the jailbreak crowd I bet is less than 5percent of the iPhone market. Ipad sold out nationwide in no time, they even delayed the international launch because they are out of units. Apple has not lost it's schock and awe, it might be gettig more powerful even.

Disclaimer I am not an iPhone user, on sprint. I like apple have a mac and 3 iPods, also work all day long on windows so I don't drink all the koolaid, just think it is a company to admire for sure.

 

That will be my next phone. I will be switching from Sprint in June.

I wish they would show a picture of the screen on. I know they describe the "Plug into iTunes" icon is all that this phone will display but they say that it looks very high resolution. So why not show a picture of it?

 

We have a family plan on Sprint, and my wife was complaining last night about her Palm Pixi, I have the Palm Pre. We are one year away from contract renewal and I think we will go iphone. I have had Blackberry's, Treo's, Hero (google), Palm Pre, almost all the smart phones Sprint has rolled out over the last 5 years. I still think the iphone beats them all. I have an itouch, and it is just so easy to use, if they get multitasking down on the new operating system, it will rule the land.
