Funny I never heard of SCS until I came on here, and I’ve only seen 2 other trucks with them in San Diego since I got mine and one was BR6 and the other F5. The wheels I see most are methods.

SCS has been around for years…and they have some kind of cult following. Only two models out of 5 are not fake beadlock, and after waiting over 7 months for a spare, I dumped my F5s (non fake bro lock) for RRW and haven’t looked back. @SCS needs to seriously update their wheel designs with more non fake ass beadlocks. That fad has come and gone :crapstorm:

I just purchased these FNWheels and had them mounted to some 265/75R16 Goodyear Ultraterrain AT wheels. Dustin over at FN wheels was fantastic to work with and his prices can’t be beat for an incredible quality wheel. I would reach out to him.

Fake beadlocks are no different than "Raptor lights."

If you like them, get them. :)

I have a set for my winter tires. They look good, and balance well. That's enough for me.

The second part is just your opinion. It doesn't matter.

Some folks like white letter tires. Some don't. Who cares?

Some people do take their opinions seriously around here.

I've made fun of Raptor lights, but I don't dislike them.

Heck, I drive around with traction boards on my roof rack half of the year at the risk of getting made fun of for being a poser. I just leave them on because I'm lazy!

Those serve a purpose, and other than sliders, maxtrax are probably the best investment you can make when building up a rig. They have saved my ass several times.

I like fake bead lock wheels. Currently rock SCS F5's though. Get what you like, let the haters hate.

San Diego RRW owners do exist but they are rare. I love my RRWs but for the price I paid I would have appreciated non-plastic center caps. (You know, the ones that the dealerships and tire centers like to over-tighten and crack). Otherwise I'm a big fan.

for the price? RRW are in line with SCS, methods etc in regards to pricing. They do sell billet center caps but yeah, plastic sucks. Why would a dealer or tire shop need to mess with the center caps? They don’t ever need to come off to remove wheels.
