    get a dog too. Until I install my alarm system, I have my german shepherd to pretect my interior.

    I think you should have it covered by the insurance or get it a the dealership, sometimes when you buy that kind of parts out of the oem distributors you are contributing to the stealing of them, you don't know if the same guy that robbed you is selling it to you!

    I saw a news program a couple of months ago which talked about how breaking into cars and stealing airbags was becoming a bit of a criminal enterprise in some locations, that some body/repair shops will purchase them for a couple hundred bucks apiece and then charge $800-900 to put them into cars that have been in accidents where the bags have deployed. I guess they are small, not hard to steal, and bring quick cash.....a druggie's dream-come-true.
