Gotta say... I saw the first picture and hadn't read a single word (or seen the license plate on pic#2 yet) and first thing I though.... must be L.A.
ROFL, not at your misfortune, but at WTF is the matter with CA? And sure glad I don't live there.

I honestly haven't heard of anyone stealing wheels since the 80's.

Assuming they were the 19 pro wheels and not the new 20’s?

Stolen wheels are a huge thing again. Honda Accord wheels seem to be very popular. Actually stolen doors and air bags are huge too. Recently saw an accord that had the wheels, all four doors, and all the air bags ripped. Insurance company totaled it.

Unfortunately thats what alot of thieves do. They seldom steal stuff like this from their own neighborhood. They drive out anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour to find something to take back home with them.

There’s a lot of tweakers that go into nicer areas to steal shit.

Not quite what I was saying.
However, speaking from experience my local police doesn't seem to put much effort into vehicle related thefts. When my brother's car was stolen
the officer said that there wasn't much he could do.

Heck, how many tailgates have we lost here? ~$600 if not more and they pop of in a matter of heart beats.

I have a feeling that anybody who would stoop to the level of stealing wheels already lives a life more shitty than you can possibly imagine. Which of course is no attempt to justify their act, but rather to suggest that Karma won't exact revenge in cases like this.
