Someone Stole two of my wheels and tires last night

Some cops are just lazy a holes not all but they do give bad rep for all. I was delivering in downtown LA fashion district van go stolen as I went in to the store saw cop pass by went over told him and his exact words were "call LAPD" and he left.

It could be worse, imagine if they drained your gas tank too!

 

God I wish I could catch someone in the act in a situation like this. A few weeks back they broke into my sisters car just to get the battery! Stupid thieves the battery is like 3 years old on it's last leg haha.

 

I would never have a nice vehicle living in an apartment complex.

This could've happened...

 

There’s a few Porsches, Corvettes, Raptors among other nice vehicles in this complex. Why they wanted OEM wheels and used tires is beyond me.

 

I don't doubt there are. There are always people with new, expensive, shiny, pretty things sitting in apartment parking lots. Unfortunately, there's no way to protect them from theft, vandalism, etc. My comfort level would not allow me to spend $40k+ on something that is sitting out all night for the world to have their way with. A $3,500 car is what I'd have if I had to live in an apartment.

 

They likely own a Toyota or know someone who does. Your 6 lug wheels fit A LOT of toyota models. Tacoma 1995+, 4runner 1992+, Tundra 00-06, etc.

When my truck was stolen.... there were 5 tacomas on the street, all better than mine. Also a Ferrari across the street parked in the driveway. They found it 4 to 6 months later in Palmdale area in a warehouse with 6 other tacos. 2 guys were driving mine around and the chp followed them home.

 

This is probably correct. They were either after the wheels for their own truck, or after the tires. Used tires are a easy sell, hard to track, and you dont need a full set to sell them.
