    Wow, glad your gate was saved. I'd love to see the look on the thieves face when he was trying to get it off. My truck is backed up against a concrete wall all night, so I've procrastinated in doing this simple mod, but I'm thinking I should do it before my road trip in the fall.

    I dont think tailgate theft has been an issue in Alabama (at least I haven't heard of any instances) but I'm still going to do this mod this week given how inexpensive and quick it is.
