Goof-off, goo gone are good stuff. But need to be careful with it, as you can scratch the paint.

Best option if it’s everywhere on a vehicle is a professional.

And since it isn’t been stated, file a police report. They probably won’t do much, but get it on record.

It will help, how much is tough to say. At a minimum it provides a physical barrier on top of your paint so whatever gets splashed on the truck will stick to the ceramic and not actually be touching the paint. It might not stick to the ceramic as strongly as it sticks to the paint. Plus, if you wiped the truck down with alcohol cleaning it the first time and then didn't wax or coat it afterward you essentially prepared the paint for better adhesion of the residue this second time. Even if the residue sticks to the ceramic just as strongly as it sticks to your paint the ceramic will provide some protection from whatever you use to clean it off.

All that said, you'll want to use professionally applied, top quality ceramic. These days every product out there claim to be ceramic coatings or have ceramic in them and they are not all created equal. Don't expect an $8 of ceramic spray from the autoparts store to work as well as the stuff that costs $100/oz that the pros use.

Good news. My Auto insurance said I only gotta cover $100 deductible. If the residue requires sanding then I guess a paint job may be required.

If you have a neighbor that uses drugs, they might be doing it for reasons that make sense only to them.

Practically everyone has a camera or three at their house; catch footage of it being done?

It looks like uncatalyzed epoxy resin. Does it smell like anything?

Unfortunately none of the neighbors in close proximity have cameras...probably why these thugs thought it was easy to get away with.

Lame. Cause I figured you didn't (otherwise you would've posted) but sucks about the neighbors.

You being the only victim tells me you're being targeted.

Haha if that were the case then we can assume the wife's husband must be a jeep owner..?

Just file a claim with your insurance under your comprehensive coverage. I wouldn’t spend a minute of my time trying to clean that crap up. If your deductible is only $100 then that’s a no brainer. A claim under comprehensive also does not raise your rates. That’s is vandalism, you need to report that to the police. Finally you need to park in a garage or if that’s not possible then move. The vandals will likely be back again.

Yeah, while my taco gets the TLC it needs in the shop I'm going to be looking at some car covers. Unfortunately my rig doesn't fit in the garage

My guess is a toyota mechanic! The quality of work looks to be the same as when they applied my undercoating during the frame recall a bunch of years ago
