Hahaha! All the breather mods get them up about that high. It just thought it might be easy to get it in there. I was wrong, but I can still see it looking up from below when checking on it.

 

Hahaha! It's even a pretty wide one with hard side cases. I'm thankful for that spot under the stairs.

The truck is parked on the same stop mark as the earlier pic, just a different day. That extra space saved my sanity. The bike is on a slick little tray called a Park-n-Move. It goes under the centerstand and lets me slide it around the garage freely.

 

Close! 2001 ST4 with almost 110,000mi on the clock. It's been a shear joy over the past 10yrs.

Edit: it's a reverse-tricolor now. It used to be blue, but has a Senna grey upper fairing and silver cases. I did abuse it, and it keeps asking for more.

Yep.

Shackles clanking off that on washboard board, fast corners, or whatever didn't appeal to me with so many other places to choose. I just picked the worst one.

 

You definitly have bigger tires than i did, mine was just a spindle lift with aftermarket shocks

 

Not option as in dealer option on a new truck but it's an optional part that cross-references appropriately in the system. At least, my dealer was able to pull it up for me.

 

Ours also will fit on the passenger side!!! Luckily that one is still there.
