Hey everyone, so a while back I replaced my LCAs with just about the cheapest aftermarket OE standard ones I could find. I also replaced and greased all of the cam bolts. The arms and bolts aren’t that old and I don’t have any major issues aside from a horrible Clunk! When backing out of my driveway on occasion. (I thought this was from undertorquing... I may have over torqued them at one point as well.)

I ran into the common cam gusset tab flattening issue after trusting a VIP to do an alignment... I now have some Total Chaos HD fabricated ones I need to weld up. I’m not looking forward to that. but my major concern is that something seems wrong to me, possibly bent. Is it the bolt, the arm, the bushing or the frame mount itself? Combination? What do you guys think?

    1. What do you feel is the issue here?
    2. What is the best course of action to fix it?

I apologize if this should have gone into technical chat, could a moderator change it?

Some comparison pics to the passengers side and then another shot of that drivers rear

Did you replace all the hardware when changing arms last time? Not just the cam ones? Also did you check the mounts to see they were square? Maybe use a set of calipers and check from side to side? Top pic through bolt and washers looks bent to me. Could be perspective though.

I did replace all of the hardware. Yes, I believe it’s bent. What could have bent it? Also, when welding the new gussets plates? Is a stick welder going to blow right through it? Use a mig?
