Back when I was 16-17 in high school, I was enrolled in a ROTC Diesel Mechanics class. After half a year and passing all the tests and successfully overhauling an engine, you got sent out to a real shop, and got on the job training. Plus a possible job opportunity.

Anyways I was sent out to a county shop that worked on county vehicles, Firetrucks, police cars, etc.
The mechanic I was assigned to that day, had me work on batteries on the firetruck. So I cleaned them up, etc and before I put the battery terminals back on, I sprayed some battery anti-corrosion spray on the terminals. And that's a big no no!:smack: So when I put one of the terminals back on, it sparked and caught the battery on fire. :censored: But it was put out fast, and I guess you really can't say the actual firetruck was on fire, but close enough. :bananadead:

But I learned a lot, and had a lot of fun working on police cars and firetrucks. :)

I modeled nude for a college art class. At first my heart was racing. After holding as still as possible for an hour and a half, I was in pain in some areas, numb in others, and bored to tears.

Fortunately the thermostat was set high enough to keep things warm.;)

A girl I went to jr. high and high school with started modeling when we were 17. Didn't take long, but she wound up on the cover of Vogue, Elle, and in the Sports Illustrated swim suit issue.

I fell in love with her when we were 15 and she asked me to marry her when we were 27!

She had second thoughts soon after, but it was great while it lasted...

    • I bought dunkin donuts coffee in my underwear in the drivethrough.

    • Almost got T-boned by a cop while going through a green light. Got let go without a ticket by the same cop, while still half naked, driving after curfew on a graduated license.

    • Found an emu and a bunch of ducks in a chicken wire pen behind a tire shop in downtown bridgeport, ct. Yes the large australian flightless bird. In a city. In Connecticut. At 3AM.

    • "Borrowed" a wheel for 99 explorer from a vehicle in a junkyard, to get my 99 explorer back on the road so I could end this crazy ass road trip, it was the idea of the AAA tow truck driver, who wouldn't tell me his real name.

    • All that happened in the same night when I was 17.

Gassed out several groups of people with CS grenades. And then had to stomp out a grass fire started by the fuse of one those CS grenades while it was still smoking.

Used a dead rabbit to get on a government installation without an ID check.

Had a cop apologize to me after arresting me for minor in possession of alcohol. Related, was on unattended probation, in Iraq, for said charges in Kansas.
