    Hey all,

I have a 97 4runner with the A340F (4x4)...nearly the same trans as the Tacos. I was reading on another post about the Sonnax and Transgo, but none of them said to do one or the other, or both together? Are these just interchangable kits? Is one better than the other?

Mine is the 3.4l with a TRD supercharger. Trying to protect the trans from becoming a problem child.

I recently got a P0753 Solenoid code...and I dont want to begin burning clutches. So Id like to do the valve body upgrade while I have the pan off. Just trying to figure out my best plan of attack.

Do both at the same time. I regret not doing the Trans go when I did the Sonnax. The Sonnax fixes some shifting issues and valve body leaks. It buy itself doesn't firm up the shifting much.

    Saw this on Sonnax site:

    Zip Kit® A340-LATE-ZIP
    Fits '00-later V6 and V8 units.

Mine is a 1997. I dont see a 97 model year zip kit. Do I have to buy each seperate part?

Best to call them. I'm unsure.
