    Hello Gents,

I wanted to swing by and shamelessly plug my buddies new shop. I know some of you may still appreciate a good mechanic for the jobs you don't have the time or expertise to tackle yourself. My good friend Josh, is a 10+ year experienced tech who formerly called Ferrari of San Francisco his place of duty. He's fully certified and trained on Ferrari, Maserati, and Porsche, but as a fledgling small business, there is no make/model/task that he won't take on. He works on all Euro, Asain, and Domestic Vehicles. Check out his website, pass the word around, and if you have anymore questions, send me a PM. Thank you for your time!

Here is the shop sign I just made for him, hoping to get it hung up this week.

885 OME lift with dakars. CRL fog lights
    Hi,
New to the forum, I live in napa and looking for help to install a lift kit. If no helps out there if someone could direct me to a place to have it installed. The lifts I'm looking at are the ome 885 with 5100 or just the ome kit. I drive 40miles roundtrip to work. Most extreme driving I do is on a country gravel driveway. I have no experience with any of this. Anyone have other lift kits opinions?

    Thanks

welcome to TW. I did my own install of suspension "upgrades", after researching here on TW. You might check out Yodaman in Santa Rosa.

welcome! I believe you will either need to rent or buy a coil spring compressor to install those springs on your struts correctly. You just missed a "mod day" that is where a bunch of members meet up to all work on their trucks together. You may get more responses in this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/norcal-spotted-and-bs-thread.53517/page-2456#post-12078859

most of us sonoma county people frequent the thread in that link, this one is all but dead. There are plenty of us around to help out with an install and we usually take beer as payment, shops will charge out the a** to install a simple lift. Some local members are @stroM- @ffdawson @Bentrodder @tacomgee @sawbladeduller and myself who live from Santa Rosa to Petaluma, I'm sure between all of us we could get it installed at some point!

I was checking out the OME kit at Wheelers off-road.com, seems like a reasonable kit, especially with their optional strut and coil pre- install. Made me think I should do this kit on my 98 stock 4x4

talk to marie with @HeadStrong Off-Road she is super helpful. They have the best prices around from what I've seen. You should also get the fronts assembled by them to make installation easy
