    i did go up SpringCreek.

i've been taking wild swings at Rough-Go, and quite frankly getting my ass kicked. i need more skills and stamina.
SO..i took Spring Creek. which i would name, Rough-go-light. i actually came to an abrupt stop when my meandering up that trail put a big rock in front of my tire. timing was perfect to my heart red-lining and me going out of gas. BAM!! it was a stupid looking crash.

even coming down the fireroad was blistering at places. next time, i am going up the fireroad and down Rough-go or spring creek.

My go to route is warm up on Canyon to the benches, up marsh to S. Burma. Down S.Burma and then N. Burma and over Live Oak and then down Spring Creek. About a 13 mile loop and super fun!

Where does everyone in the North Bay have their regular service done? I had a great purchase experience with Freeman Toyota when I bought my truck, but my patience with their Service Department is quickly dwindling.

I had the same thing buying at Freeman. I have been using Hansel in Petaluma for my services and so far have loved it.

two things i miss moving to Santa Rosa/
my dentist and my independent toyota shop.

i am keeping my dentist, but the logistics of running my truck back to Concord for truck repairs makes it impossible. it aint gonna happen.

Same here. Bought from Freeman, service at Hansel Petaluma. Freeman service sucks.

I had a great purchase experience there too. But it is a 2-hour drive from me, so I won't be using their service.

I guess I'm not helping. But weird how they fall down on service. Why are they so bad?

From my experience it's just miss communications and more over promise under deliver type stuff. There parts dept. is pretty awesome though! At least the parts manager is on top of his stuff and has bent over backwards for me in the past!

For me it was trying to get an appointment on my schedule. Hansel is close to my work so I can drop off the truck in the morning and ride my bike to the shop, then pick it up after work.

Who's red Tacoma with the "alter ego" vinyl all over the side? Just passed it coming down Hoen on my way home for lunch.
