Anyone do auto glass repairs?

My commuter car (altima) needs the rubber trim/molding replaced around the rear window.

 

Advanced Auto Glass in Santa Rosa is the spot, but a bit of a drive from Napa just for glass work.

If anyone affected is down in South Bay for whatever reason and needs anything let me know. Not sure what help I can be on this weekend but I think I should have some time and can offer my Taco for transportation of people/supplies.

 

i live on one side of BrushCreek. the other side got evacuated!!

i sat in my front yard all night in a camp chair. i had to keep an eye out..everyone left except me and my elderly neighbors. i got them plumbed up with go-bags..with ID and MEDS. and opened all their garages since we have no electricity. i pulled all their cars out.

and my wife can sleep thru anything. she helped me pack and went to bed with her clothes and shoes on..in case we had to go!!

everyone is so nice to the elderly around me..a small fire and they went running. nobody woke the old folks up!! i had just open up a window screen and pry open a window to scream into a house to wake up the old lady next to me.. she takes sleep meds and was coming in and out. she is coming with me if the wind swaps.

 

You guys okay? Evac?

 

Fires look like they are crazy up there. I'm bad with landmarks, @T4RFTMFW how far are the Santa Rosa fires from the R.R. Brewery? What about from your place?

 

Russian River is in downtown SR, according to this map (http://www.arcgis.com/apps/PublicInformation/index.html?appid=0c12ac1e89c24075a2be145f4db6caf5) that area seems fine.

I think fires are within 1/2-3/4 mile from our house. So far as I know it’s okay.

They’re not really fighting the fires here yet, as it isn’t effectively done. So, fingers crossed we are spared.

My parents were evacuated from my childhood home at 2am. National Guard has been deployed to their neighborhood to stop looters. Fire was within 50ft of their fence and the firefighters were lighting backfires in the open space just east of Hidden Valley Drive to reduce fuel (this was as of about noon). No word on if they were able to hold it there yet.

Parts of the city burned that I never would have thought would be at risk.

 

Holy shit this is crazy! All safe in Sebastopol but Santa Rosa is bad

 

You should make sure your cars have full gas tanks and expect others to head there to fill up too.

 

Best wishes. I left Santa Rosa. The air was unbreathable. I hope my home is safe. I feel for those that lost. Makes me sad.

I just got my house, so it isn’t DEAR to me yet.
