Sony XAV-AX8100 Steering Wheel Controls

Hello,

I've had an issue with the Sony XAV-AX8100 Plug & Play unit from Trail Grid Pro since I put it in and just keep putting it off.

My issue is the steering wheel controls. When I gave the setting in preset, the volume up/down, skip forward and back and voice buttons work and the mode button switches between radio and Android Auto, but the end call button pauses music and pick up call button does nothing. Then when I go to the custom setting, it won't let me bind the volume down button and the voice button, it thinks I'm using the same button twice.

Has anyone had an issue with this or can anyone point me in the right direction. When I installed the unit, I had to reset the controller that comes with the unit once to get the buttons to work in the first place and decided to live with the voice button not being used, but now I want to fix it. Maybe resetting the controller again might work?

I second this! They were great when I had questions about my install.

 

I would reach out to them. There could be an issue with the controller itself
