I’ve been looking for a 2015 double cab short bed with the V6, 4WD and under 60k miles, in silver or grey since last august, so I’m happy to have found it for a price I can swing, no doubt. I’m just nervously anticipating delivery, I’ve never bought a vehicle sight unseen so I’m extra nervous about this one is all ;)

You’re already on top of the frame issue. The other things I’d be personally inspecting would be the entire suspension and basically the entire undercarriage, not just the frame.

Make sure you try out 4x4 both hi and lo but be careful to follow the steps and keep to the parameters in the manual.

I’m OCD so I’d be visually inspecting literally every inch of the vehicle, and making sure every button does what it should.

And assuming all goes well and you keep it, go ahead and run an oil change and spark plug change yourself so you know what you have, and consider changing out other fluids as well. Hope it works out!

Well, bullet dodged I guess.... Carvana just called and said when loading the truck for transport and delivery, they found frame damage beyond a sellable condition. At least I didn't get my hopes up too far. Back to the drawing board... Thanks for all your input!

To bad it didn't workout (great mileage for year)

Good side they were honest about finding the frame problem

Funny that didn't show up on their inspection (dealer's inspections are not trustworthy. Always best to get your own done.)
