Here is my soon to be first child. This is at 34 weeks and the baby weighs approximately 5 pounds 6 ounces. We don't know if it is a boy or girl as we wanted it to be a surprise. The anticipation is unreal. We are so excited. That thing in front of the baby's lips is the umbilical cord floating around. It has my nose (BIG)!

Thanks everybody for your comments. I can't wait. I am tired of feeling the baby kick, I want to actually hold it in my arms.

On another note...I just got laid off from my job. What timing. Keeps life interesting I guess. Wish me luck with my job hunting.

Congratulations on the new baby. Sorry to hear about the job. Tough times for sure. Like hoosier said, keep your chin up, there is something out there for you, you just need to find it. I'll be unemployed this December, my plant is closing the doors. I try not to think about it. One door closes, another door opens.
