As I said earlier...the 4x Innovations sliders came in today. After inspection, I can say these things are pure beef and I have no issues with quality. The main tubes are fabricated, but I'll need to weld up the supports that attach to the frame and then weld them to the mains. This also lets me set a custom angle.

I know OP needs bolt-ons, but I would reconsider the weld-on option. They're lighter, cost less, no drilling, you'll have more flexibility with the layout and no need to worry about rot under the mounting plates. Surely there's someone who can operate a wire feed out there hungry for a side job.

I have a fun project in the coming weeks.

$412 shipped from WI to NM.

I have these too, and purchased mine from here: https://www.rogue-offroad.com/product-p/183519.htm

They ship normal shipping (not freight) because they're two piece.

Rogue is a vendor here, and might provide a TW coupon code if you email them.

They'll fit, just bring some straps. They're about 80" long so with your tailgate down, they'll just overhang a little bit.

I figured as much. not a huge issue.. hopefully he replies back $600 would be great, as I have about $450 in my personal savings, and i can borrow 3-400 from my joint account to get these ASAP... I plan to get them powdercoated, have a local shop, that do sone great custom work, and the pictures of stuff I've seen them do is phenomenal.. I just want a rough texture finnish, thats durable.

When I picked up my sliders I put them diagonal in the bed with the tailgate up and strapped them down. They did stick up out of the bed a bit but I felt better doing it that way then having the tailgate down. Either way good luck with them and your road trip!

They'll fit just fine. Take a tool to cut the banding and that way they are easier to manage. They fit below the bottom of your cab so whatever that length is, that's how long they are. Take some tie down straps too in case you need to run down the road with the tailgate open.

We're Tacoma owners, we don't let anything stop us!

It's a road trip you will never regret making. I recently put an all day trip in to drop off a soft topper, and pick up my tires and wheels, and a storage container that I had to turn around and drive a couple hours the next day to hand off to another guy. I once drove a couple hours to pick up an exhaust for another member, then had to drive another couple of hours to take it to him.

As soon as I can, and the recipient is able (Army restrictions) I am driving up towards Cicero NY to take him my OEM Pro tires and wheels.

You should go over to the Northeast Tacomaworld Express thread right now and ask if anyone can help. Don't be disappointed if no one accepts. We are in some very strange times right now.

For this deal though, I'd pack some water, red bull and snacks and take someone you know is healthy and make the trip.

Yea, I have to agree. A road trip right about now would be quite a welcome change.

However, I'll still be unhappy when I have to leave the comfort of working from my home for the nasty old city.........

You're a LEO, you got this! Just stick to the major routes since those have rest stops that will have cleaner bathrooms. LOL

corrections... cops.... they dont consider us law enforcement... but there arent many options for "corrections officers" even though I face a more guaranteed risk population than they do.

Gonna have to give a second recommendation for the c4 sliders....they have taken a real beating only truck and there's no evidence of it (apart from the scratched powder coat)

Not sure if its been mentioned yet, but you can actually still sell those old steps. Many people like the look of them without the step part on, so they cut off the step and then repaint them. It gives the truck the look of sliders without the cost or protection of sliders (mall crawl trucks)

cool idea.. lol, might do this tomorrow.... I got a friend going from NH to NJ tomorrow to get the sliders, and I'll pick them up from him in kittery, Me.. not leaving state.. so saves me from the COVID-19 no leaving state rule for work... and i get my sliders for just over $800ish.. still cheaper than having them shipped to me.

You know I really haven't taken the time to look. I'm sure there is a shop or two out here, but I'll have to do some more research.
